  5. VGASHOW is a utility for displaying PCX, GIF, TIF, BMP,and TGA images 
  6. on any SuperVGA, VGA, EGA, CGA or monochrome screen.  It is produced
  7. by Videotex Systems (Dallas, TX).
  8.  
  9. These instructions are supplied in the event you are having problems with
  10. viewing images with VGASHOW.  VGASHOW should auto-detect your graphics 
  11. adapter.  If not, you may have to set the /s and/or /m options, as 
  12. described below.

  18. How to use VGASHOW:
  19.  
  20. VGASHOW filename [d] [/lx] [/p] [/q] [/c] [/o] [/sx] [/mx]
  21.  
  22.     filename is any TGA, PCX, TIF, BMP, GIF file, or a wildcard 
  23.     specification of those files, or a file containing a list of 
  24.     files to show.
  25.  
  26.     d   the number of seconds to display each image (optional).
  27.    /l   display list of images specified in filename, where x is the 
  28.     column position offset (default=1).
  29.    /p   suppress pause between images (optional).
  30.    /q   quiet suppress - display file info on VGA screen (optional).
  31.    /c   cycle continuously through the images (optional).
  32.    /o   display pixel for pixel; default is to Fit To Screen (optional).

  34.    /sx  where x is from 0 to 14 for the supported superVGA chips 
  35.    /mx  where x is from 0 to 99 for the supported video modes

  37. -Switch settings
  38. VGASHOW should autodetect your super VGA card if you have one.  If it does 
  39. not, you can specify the card directly with the /s switch.
  40. You can also force VGASHOW into a certain graphic mode.  To set the
  41. graphic mode, use the /m switch.

  61. VGASHOW is just one of 30 utility programs in T-Tools, a collection of utili-
  62. ties for Targa, Targa+ and ATVista boards from Videotex Systems.  It was 
  63. created with the T-BASE library available from Videotex.  If you are a C, 
  64. Clipper, FoxPro, Basic, dBase, Rbase, or Paradox programmer, you can create 
  65. a vast range of imaging applications using the T- BASE library.

  67. Other products from Videotex Systems include ChromaTools, a collection of 
  68. easy to use image conversion and enhancement utilities.  ChromaTools supports 
  69. every major raster file format including TGA, PCX, VST, BMP (Windows), TIF, 
  70. MAC TIF, and PostScript files.  You can take any of these formats (except 
  71. PostScript) as input and output any other format.
