Autodesk Animator Pro Version 1.3 Bonus CD
VGASHOW Viewer Help \images\vgashow.txt
VGASHOW is a utility for displaying PCX, GIF, TIF, BMP,and TGA images
on any SuperVGA, VGA, EGA, CGA or monochrome screen. It is produced
by Videotex Systems (Dallas, TX).
These instructions are supplied in the event you are having problems with
viewing images with VGASHOW. VGASHOW should auto-detect your graphics
adapter. If not, you may have to set the /s and/or /m options, as
described below.
Information about Videotex Systems, the maker of VGASHOW, is at the end of
this file.

How to use VGASHOW:
VGASHOW filename [d] [/lx] [/p] [/q] [/c] [/o] [/sx] [/mx]
filename is any TGA, PCX, TIF, BMP, GIF file, or a wildcard
specification of those files, or a file containing a list of
files to show.
d the number of seconds to display each image (optional).
/l display list of images specified in filename, where x is the
column position offset (default=1).
/p suppress pause between images (optional).
/q quiet suppress - display file info on VGA screen (optional).
/c cycle continuously through the images (optional).
/o display pixel for pixel; default is to Fit To Screen (optional).
/sx where x is from 0 to 14 for the supported superVGA chips
/mx where x is from 0 to 99 for the supported video modes
-Switch settings
VGASHOW should autodetect your super VGA card if you have one. If it does
not, you can specify the card directly with the /s switch.
You can also force VGASHOW into a certain graphic mode. To set the
graphic mode, use the /m switch.

VGASHOW is just one of 30 utility programs in T-Tools, a collection of utili-
ties for Targa, Targa+ and ATVista boards from Videotex Systems. It was
created with the T-BASE library available from Videotex. If you are a C,
Clipper, FoxPro, Basic, dBase, Rbase, or Paradox programmer, you can create
a vast range of imaging applications using the T- BASE library.
Other products from Videotex Systems include ChromaTools, a collection of
easy to use image conversion and enhancement utilities. ChromaTools supports
every major raster file format including TGA, PCX, VST, BMP (Windows), TIF,
MAC TIF, and PostScript files. You can take any of these formats (except
PostScript) as input and output any other format.
